3. Russian Hill, stay in the typical streets of San Francisco
One of the most authentic areas of the city is the Russian Hills area and its famous steep streets.

1. Bayview and Hunters Point

2. Mission District
It is an interesting neighborhood to visit during the day, where you can see art. However, it is an area with quite a few street gangs and the crime rate is quite high. Apart from the street art and some cool places to eat and drink, it is better to pass by.
3. Stay in nearby cities
Something very common is that since San Francisco has such high prices, some tourists choose to stay in nearby cities such as San Rafael or Oakland. However, if you decide on this option, keep in mind that the journeys are long to get to San Francisco. In the best case it will take between an hour and an hour and a half.
