The city of Vang Vieng is relatively small and there are several accommodations in the center and surrounding areas. To get around the area it is ideal to rent a motorcycle, although you can also get around by tuk tuk taxi. It really doesn't matter much which area to stay in because everything is quite close, the ideal is to choose accommodation with the amenities you are looking for, in our case, the pool was essential taking into account the heat and humidity that it was in Laos at the time we we were traveling There are many 3 and 4 star hotels with swimming pools for very little money. There are three-star accommodations from 15 euros per night in a double room with breakfast, and you can also find “more luxurious” options for 50 euros per night in a double room with breakfast.

WHERE TO STAY IN VANG VIENG
Confetti Garden Hotel
This 4-star hotel located in the center of Vang Vieng is one of the best hotels to stay in the area. With modern facilities, it has huge rooms for 2, 3 and 4 people with breakfast included. The views from their rooftop bar are incredible, of the mountains surrounding Vang Vieng and the city. It has an outdoor pool, free private parking, free Wi-Fi, a rooftop bar and a restaurant with international cuisine. Its rooms have a private bathroom inside the room and air conditioning. Vang Vieng Diamond Resort, a great option to stay in Vang Vieng
This much cheaper accommodation option is perfect if you are on a tighter budget but still want to stay in a great accommodation with amenities. The 3-star hotel has spacious and renovated rooms with a private bathroom inside the room. It has rooms for 2, 3, 4 and 5 people with breakfast included. It has a garden, swimming pool, laundry service and air conditioning. The cost is usually around 15 euros per night, in a double room with breakfast (2023 rates).

This is another great accommodation option in central Vang Vieng. It is a 4-star hotel very well located, with spacious rooms, restaurant, garden and swimming pool. The rooms have a minibar, safe, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The cost is usually around 39 euros per night, in a double room with breakfast (2023 rates).
Riverside Boutique Resort Vang Vieng, one of the best options to stay in Vang Vieng
This was our accommodation option and we were delighted. It is a 4-star hotel located on the banks of the Nam Song River. From the pool, garden and room balconies you will have incredible views of the mountains surrounding Vang Vieng.
The rooms are very large and comfortable. They have a minibar, a huge bathroom with a bathtub, air conditioning, Wi-Fi... The hotel has a spa with massage services, a bar, a swimming pool, a restaurant and a garden.
The cost is not cheap if we take into account the surrounding hotels, the price is around 120 euros per night in a double suite with breakfast included. But if we take into account the service and facilities, the price is great.
The Sanctuary Nam Ngum Beach Resort
A little further from the center you will find a 3-star hotel that enjoys all the comforts of luxury hotels. This hotel is located on its own islet and has huge bedrooms with private full bathroom in the room, incredible views of the natural environment of Vang Vieng, air conditioning, free parking, free Wi-Fi, bar, massages, water sports, outdoor pool … The cost is usually around 65 euros per night, in a double room with breakfast (2023 rates).
Tmark Resort Vangvieng
This is the only 5 star hotel in the Vang Vieng area. It is a fairly large hotel with a swimming pool, restaurant, spa and massage area, gym, bar, free Wi-Fi... Its bedrooms are large, with a full private bathroom, minibar, safe... The cost is usually around 130 euros per night, in a room. double with breakfast (2023 rates).
