Finding accommodation in Paris is quite a complicated task. What at first glance may seem easy to us, once you start looking for accommodation you find that there are more than 1700 accommodations on booking and many others on Airbnb etc…
So if you don't know Paris yet and you don't know very well where to stay, you can be right now without knowing very well where to go.
In this post I talk about the best areas to stay in Paris and some great accommodation options for both price and quality.
I had already published a curious article about the hotels with the best views of the Eiffel Tower, however, they are hotels within the reach of few (including me) so in this article you will find all kinds of accommodation for various budgets.

The Center of Paris, the best place to stay in Paris
The Center of Paris is the best area to stay, apart from being one of the oldest and most charming neighborhoods in the city, there are many of the tourist attractions, such as the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries Palace, Campos Eliseos... among many more... In addition, it is an area that is very well connected to the other neighborhoods and has many leisure services and shops.
Paris is not an economic city, it is quite expensive. And the center of Paris could not be different. Standard, intermediate category accommodation usually costs between 150 and 220 euros per night in a double room.

The Eiffel Tower, one of the most popular places to stay in Paris
The Eiffel Tower area is one of the most popular places to stay. Apart from the Eiffel Tower there are many places of tourist interest nearby and therefore it is convenient to be able to walk to a large part of them. However, it is not a very charming area. Prices in this area are the same as in the downtown area, around between 150 and 220 euros per night in a standard double room (middle class hotels). It should be borne in mind that the vast majority of hotels that have views of the Eiffel Tower from their rooms usually have a supplement for this type of suite.

The Latin Quarter, an option with a lot of atmosphere where to stay in Paris
The Latin Quarter is a good option where to stay in Paris. You will find it in the 5th arrondissement. It is an area with a lot of atmosphere, especially at night. There are many bars, clubs, restaurants... In addition, the Latin Quarter is very central and you will find many places of interest to visit nearby such as the Luxembourg Gardens, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Pantheon...
The Latin Quarter has more affordable prices. You can find accommodation between 100 and 120 euros approx. night double room in medium category.

Montmartre, one of the most charming areas to stay in Paris
Located in the 18th arrondissement, Montmartre is one of the areas that I love the most in Paris. In the neighborhood hills you will feel like in a romantic movie at all times. This neighborhood has spectacular views of the city, it has a very special charm, cobbled streets, colorful houses with flowers in the windows, quaint cafes... Also, here is the Sacré Coure, an essential stop on your trip to Paris. Without a doubt, it is one of the most charming areas to stay in Paris.
The prices are around between 120 and 180 euros, in a double room per night (medium category).
