Delhi is generally the first city to embark on a trip through Bharat (India). When you arrive you will find quite a bit of chaos and a lot of people, but you quickly acclimatise to the chaotic city. Delhi is a fairly large city with many areas to stay, and you also have a wide variety of accommodation to choose from, depending on your budget. The country is generally quite affordable, so you can find good prices on 4 or 5 star hotels. WHERE TO STAY IN DELHI, BHARAT (INDIA)

You could say that the city is divided into 3. The central area, the south and the airport area. The area you SHOULD NOT stay in Delhi is Mahipalpur, an area near the airport, with a lot of traffic, dirty and where in recent years there have been altercations with tourists.

Hauz Khas, the best area to stay in New Delhi

If you doubt, Hauz Khas is one of the best areas to stay in Delhi, in addition to being one of the most fashionable neighborhoods in the city. In this area there are many accommodations of all kinds, restaurants, bars, shops...

In our case, we stayed in this area, at the Bloom Boutique l GK-1 3* hotel, a small and very new hotel, with comfortable rooms, good service, an excellent breakfast, free Wi-Fi… The cost is around 60 euros per night in Deluxe double room.

Old Delhi, stay in the historic center of Delhi

In this area you will find the vast majority of historical places of interest such as the Masjid Mosque, Riji Fort, Raj Ghat and Chandni Chawk. It is a rather acotic area, where there are always people here and there, but it has a lot of charm.
